    9 PM Heroics

So, as we start to get people to 80 and have the need to start getting them geared, I would like to start running heroics each evening at 9 PM. Until we can get more people at 80, we will only be able to get one group going per night. Therefore, I will be happy to select the instance and put the people together. However, I will be rotating people who sign-up through the list meaning that for the moment, it will most likely be every other night that some people get to go.

This will not necessarily be based upon the heroic daily. It will be based on instance progression until such time that people are better geared. If the daily should so happen to coincide with that, all the better. :)

I would like to create a signup list in-game, but it doesn't seem like the Blizz calendar has that functionality. So, I will create a new post each day here with the instance and update it with people throughout the day.

This will begin on Wednesday, December 3.

    Re: 9 PM Heroics

Count me in. Wed is usually bad for me as I have a regular evening club meeting. Will try to be back before nine. Will have to take a look at the Blizz calendar system. There ought to be a way to use it. You may need to have a list of specific people that are invitees as opposed to just an open invite.  Since there are a limited number of 80s at this point that should not be too hard. The TRaid and Sentinel forums also have a calendar available but I don't know how you enter data into them.

Potentially you could use the TrimmerRaid site and use the calendar function there.  It generates a post when you create a calendar event and those people who can go on a particular night can just throw their names into the thread.

    Re: 9 PM Heroics

There will be plenty of opportunity to run heroics during the day.  GG and I don't have class until January...so we will have plenty of days to do instances and such.  This is just a more formalized thing that Colpo is spearheading.

    Re: 9 PM (Non) Heroics

So, we are going to focus on for at least the next week running the L80 non heroic instances in order to gear up a little bit better before re-entering heroics. I will also move from using the forums, to the Blizz Calendar for the scheduling of events. Each instance will have all interested players invited, however some maybe listed as standby when we need to start working through rotating people. Therefore, if you are interested in being added to the evening invites, please post here and I will start including you in the invites. Please also post your spec (tank, healer, dps) so that I have some idea of what you prefer. I know that some people have adjusted their specs over the past couple weeks.

When we move back into heroics, here is an idea of where you should be stats wise before joining up.

    Tanks - 540 Defense, 21k health, 20k armor

DPS - Over 1200 DPS minimum, 1600 is better, 2k is best, and a good portion of the way to your hit cap for your respective spec

Healers -  Over 1400 Spellpower, 15k mana and as close to 250 MP/5 as possible

    Re: 9 PM (Non) Heroics

so, im 80 now, and next week i should be able to get in on some of the 9pm grouping action. however i have to be done by 1010 at the latest so i can still make it to work on time. so if a group i s ready a little early, that would be great, mmmmmkay =)

    Re: 9 PM (Non) Heroics

Healers should probably be 1400+ spellpower for heroics.

With two gem replacements, I think Glok meets all of the tank requirements now. :D

    Re: 9 PM (Non) Heroics

Yeah, Bera's DPS tends to be kind of all over the place because of off-healing and such but he is averaging around 1300 with all of that going on (I've seen as high as 1700).
